Jullie Chung has been a freelance writer since 2002 providing extensive copy for the industrial and medical fields. She has written copy for numerous industrial websites as well corporate marketing and promotional material while continuing to write for Suite 101.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Jullie has been an amateur kayak racer for three years participating and placing regularly in the Tennessee Blueway Canoe and Kayak Race. She has summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mt. Blanca in Colorado. She trail runs regularly using the "barefoot running" style and rollerblades with her dog regularly á la Cesar Millan. Jullie has fly-fished rivers in Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, and the Great Smoky Mountains (though catching anything is a different story) and had great success deep-sea fishing in Destin, FL.

Jullie has been a nationally certified personal fitness trainer for over eight years through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She teaches yoga regularly and also trains heavily in Mixed Martial Arts and boxing at Fight Sport Fitness.

Graduating from the the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in European History, her particular interests lie in Medieval and Tudor England. She has a passion for Shakespeare and completed the one year classical acting program at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She lived in New York City for ten years and worked extensively as an actress appearing on episodes of Spin City, Now and Again, and with Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney in the film One Fine Day.

Jullie has traveled extensively and has lived in the UK for two years. She has had the opportunity to assist with medical relief work in Rwanda and the Republic of Congo. Jullie lives happily with her husband Joel Chisholm and their two children.
